Pumpkin Patch

     We thank everyone who helped with our Pumpkin Patch this year.  This was our eighth annual patch and our best ever.  This year we have the awesome sum of $14,078.31 designated for our four local missions: Camp Providence, Developmental Center for Exceptional Children, Family Promise, and Under His Wings (see explanation below of these ministries.  Over the eight years, Trinity has raised over $60,000 for local, state, and national mission projects!  We look forward to doing it again in October 2011.

 

     Our purpose in offering the pumpkin patch is to raise funds for mission.  Every penny raised is distributed among several charities each year.  Expenses are offset by other donations.

     It also gives the Anderson community a great opportunity to visit the patch with their families.  Guests may play in the patch and take family pictures.  Groups may come for a field trip experience that is offered at specific times during the patch's operation.  Everyone is welcome!

 

      Charities will be decided in September.

 

ADMISSION:  There is NO CHARGE OR PURCHASE REQUIRED to enter the patch!  Come and play or bring your own camera and take family portraits in the patch for free.

HOURS: Daily 10 am to 8 pm except Sundays (12 pm to 8 pm).

 

FIELD TRIP OPPORTUNITIES:  (Dates to be announced)  Field trip experiences are available to school classes.  These include storytelling, pumpkin carving, activities, photo-shoot area, hay pile, snack, and gift bag with goodies for $5.00 per child.
